The Griffith Fire Department Auxiliary is looking for Chili Cooks to enter the competition as well as donations for our silent auction and raffle.

On Saturday November 5th from Noon til 3 we invite Chili Cooks everywhere to come compete in in the Griffith Fire Department Auxiliary’s 8th annual Chili Cook off. It is free to enter your chili recipe into the contest we just ask that you provide 2 crockpots of chili so that there is enough for the community to try and vote on. Winner of the competition is voted on by those attending so invite your friends and family. Winners of the competition will receive a cash prize and trophy.
Don’t have a chili recipe, but love eating Chili we invite the community to attend the event and sample all of the delicious chilis and help us crown our winner.

Admission to the event is $5 which gets you all the chili samples you can stand (full bowls available for purchase from our cooks).

There will also be Hot dogs, drinks and a bake sale for anyone who does not want chili or would like to make a chili dog.

Finally we will have a silent auction filled with lots of wonderful prizes donated by our wonderful donors.
