Author of the “Beanie” books for children, Andy Robbins has been unhapy and unproductive since his divorce 8 months before from Ellen, his wife and former collaborator. In a Strange series of events, Ellen re-enters his life, his agent arrives with a TV contract that needs both Andy’s and Ellen’s approval. A beautiful lawyer appears to wrap up the deal and seduce Andy while she’s at it, Ellen’s mother makes an unexpected appearance – all on one incredible day!!
Understandably rattled, Andy lies, introduces the lawyer as his agent’s fiancee, and he tries to get Ellen to sign a contract she opposes. Andy grows up just enough to straighten out the mess and win back his wife. Full of silly side gags, awkward moments, and raucous humor, the delightful comic valentine promises to be “pregnant with feeling,” and more fun than your heart and funnybone can take. Opening Feb. 11th with shows on Friday and Sundays Feb. 16th and 18th and Feb. 23rd and 25th.
