For the first three weeks of June, Footlight Players brings the beloved musical classic, the Sound of Music, to their stage in Michigan City. Come see Adrianna LeDonne as Maria, the newly appointed governess of the seven Von Trapp children. She and Captain Von Trapp, played by Noel Carlson, butt heads almost immediately over how to teach and raise the children.
Of course, why are we telling you this? Everyone’s heard of the Sound of Music. If you love this show, come see it live here at Footlight Theatre. Experience Rodgers and Hammerstein at their best with such tunes as Climb Every Mountain, I Am Sixteen Going On Seventeen, and My Favorite Things. This is the musical for all ages, and a perfect show for a family outing.
Come join us at 1705 Franklin Street in Michigan City. Tickets are $15 or $10 for kids 12 and under. Reservations can be made by calling our box office at (219) 874-4035 or online at www.footlightplayers.org
