     Highland Main Street and the Highland Redevelopment Commission will be hosting the 2019 Highland Festival of the Trail on Saturday, October 5th in downtown Highland, from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm. The Annual Sidewalk Sale is Happening TOO!
   This year’s event will feature art-related artisan vendor booths, live music at the Mural Alcove, and a Small Farmer’s Market presented by Zandstra’s Farms. There will be a number of food options available with Food Trucks and several restaurant choices downtown Highland. 
     The Highland Fire Department will hold their Annual Open House as well.

   Music performers at the festival include the Highland High School Camerata Orchestra, Dominic Ruffalo and the Weary Bones Bluegrass Band.
   In addition, the Highland Library will hold an Arts & Crafts Smorgasboard for children from 1-3pm and a Teen Art Show from 2-3pm.
    Rain location is the Zandstra’s Farm and Greenhouse at 10202 Kennedy Ave.
