The Crown Point Volunteer Fire Department, Inc. is proud to host our second Charity Dodgeball Tournament to benefit the NICK Foundation with all proceeds going to the foundation.  (Silent Auction ends at 9:00 PM)

Help us help them by attending our one-day sporting event Saturday March 30th, 2019. Attendees will be able to watch over 200 of your local first responders and public personnel play dodgeball to help raise money for the Northwest Indiana Cancer Kids Foundation. In 2018 we were able to raise over $10,000.00 with over 200 players battling it out on the courts. The opening ceremony will begin with our nation’s colors being presented by the Dream Scouts of Chasing Dreams learning center in Merrillville, Indiana.

Admission tickets may be purchased before the event at the Crown Point Fire Station at only $10.00/ticket or online on Eventbrite! Your admission ticket includes food for the night. There will be silent auction items along with raffle prizes which include items such as gift cards, baskets, Chicago sporting event tickets, and much more! Alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase.

Northwest Indiana Cancer kids, the NICK Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization founded in 2009, by a local family that experienced the effects of childhood cancer. “Knowing your child has cancer brings a lot of uncertainty. There is nothing like having someone to turn to who has truly been there.” –Kate Perschon (Nick Co-Founder). The NICK Foundation strives to supply assistance in areas of need for Northwest Indiana residents.

“We are encouraging the public to come out and help us, help them. The NICK foundation is there in our time of need when we need them.” – Mark Reed
