DAV Chapter #17 hopes and prays that you, our members and supporters are doing well and staying safe. As we’re committed to keeping you safe and healthy.
Check-in and t-shirt pick up begin at 8:30 a.m. Step off is at 10:00 a.m.
The DAV is a non-profit organization dedicated to a single purpose: empowering USA military service veterans to lead high-quality lives with respect and dignity. All proceeds from the Walk go directly to help local, disabled veterans.
The donation to walk in the event is $20.00 for an adult participant and $10.00 for a student or child, t-shirt is included. Event is open to the public and family-friendly with special and meaningful exhibits on display, including:
● Indiana Patriot Guard’s Flag Display coupled with Indiana’s Fallen Heroes
Tribute—paying honor to the 220 fallen military heroes from Indiana that have died in the
line of combat during the past two decades
● Dept. of Defense Honor Guard with a 21 Gun Salute
● Lansing Veterans Memorial Ceremonial Honor Guard
● National Anthem and Taps (live performances)
● Post-race lunch celebration from Mission BBQ

DAV Chapter #17 is 100% men and women from your community that served in the U.S. Armed Forces and because of their service, have a continuing service connected disability. Our Walk is YOUR way to assist Disabled American Veterans.
