Crown Point’s Mayor Uran’s Office of Special Events is gearing up for the 2019 Farmers Market Season. This year’s market will begin June 3, from 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. on 183 South West Street at the NEW Bulldog Park! The Farmers Market will continue through September 30. Crown Point’s favorite vendors will be returning in addition to a few new faces. Vendors sell everything from fresh produce, flowers, gourmet foods, candles, cheese and a variety of other products.
Mayor David Uran says that, “In addition to the health benefits of eating locally grown produce, farmers markets are a great way to communicate with those who grow the food we feed our families. For that reason, we would like to add more farmers to the market.”
Interested vendors can obtain the 2019 Farmers Market Application at www.crownpoint.in.gov or contact the Mayor’s Office of Special Events at 219-662-3290.
