Classical Blast, based out of the Chicago area, is becoming wildly popular for their mix of original music and innovative new arrangements of classic rock tunes, played with cello, acoustic guitar, violin, bass and drums.
They’ve just released their second CD, and are garnering critical acclaim everywhere they play.
Guitarist/vocalist David Kav, cellist Petar Kecenovici, violinist Jimmy Chaos, bassist Bill Syniar and drummer Dave Kelly are all accomplished musicians, and Petar and Jimmy are also classically trained. Their mix of classical and contemporary is captivating, powerful and beautiful.
This is not your typical Christmas concert, and the audience agreed that it was definitely something special.
