The 59th Annual Chesterton Art Fair will be held Saturday and Sunday, August 5-6, 2023 at Dogwood Park in Chesterton, IN. The hours of the fair are 10-5 on Saturday and 10-4 on Sunday, with an admission charge of $5 per person, or $7 for the whole weekend.. Children ages 12 and under are free. Plus, parking is free as well.

Chesterton/Porter artists include Chris Acton (weaver), Mary Acton (psyanky egg artist), MaryAnn Pals (pastel artist), Jayde Petersen (jewelry artist), and Mark VanderVinne (oil painter). Other Porter County artists include Robert Albers (wood artist from Valparaiso), Tom Cernius (clay artist from Beverly Shores), Jackie Gray (fiber artist from Valparaiso), Mathew Hutchins (photographer from Portage), Elizabeth Kozlowski (fiber artist from Valparaiso), Dave Lee (glass artist from Valparaiso), Raymond Melevage (sculptor from Valparaiso), George Millet (watercolorist from Kouts), and Bob Witt (clay artist from Portage).

These artists, along with 55 others from 13 states will be exhibiting artwork in a multitude of mediums – painting, drawing, photography, jewelry, metal sculpture, weaving, glass and pottery, to name a few.

Proceeds from the Chesterton Art Fair go to the Art Education Fund at the Chesterton Art Center. Over 1,000 children participate in art classes each year, creating projects and learning to appreciate and enjoy art in many forms.
