Come join us for our Annual Cake Tasting Event!
This tasting has become an event that both we and our customers look forward to every year . . . . It is open to anyone who likes cake! (not just wedding couples) . . also a great opportunity to try several of our flavor combinations in one sitting!
This year’s event will be held at the newly remodeled venue, The Allure on the Lake in Chesterton. We are so excited to be hosting at this location! They are new to our tasting event and also new to the Chesterton and Porter County area.
For those who have never attended our event, here’s how it works:
1) You can sign up by posting your name and email address on their facebook page or Call (219) -877-8940. Be sure to note how many tickets you will want to purchase. ($17 each) An invoice will be emailed to you and will need to be paid within seven days. Once paid, your registration is complete. (We have to use this procedure ensure that we have enough cake for everyone! ๐
2) The event is divided up into four time slots (it helps everything run a little more smoothly that way!) of 1:00, 2:00, 3:00 and 4:00. We will post seating times for attendees on this page a few days prior to the event. If there is a certain time that works better with your schedule that day, please note that when you sign up; otherwise, we just divide parties alphabetically by last name.
3) On Saturday, February 3, come at the appropriate time – all prepared to stuff yourselves with cake! These are the flavors we will be featuring this year:
1) Banana Caramel Bavarian,
2) Chocolate Raspberry Bavarian,
3) Pink Strawberry Champagne,
4) Red Velvet,
5) White Cake with Strawberry Filling,
6) Carrot cake with cream cheese filling,
7) Lemon Cake with Blueberry filling,
8) Gluten Free Chocolate Turtle Cake,
Each ticket pays for one slice of each flavor. Refreshments are complimentary (coffee, tea, milk or water). With a total of eight pieces of cake on your plate, almost everyone leaves with leftovers in hand so that means cake for breakfast on Sunday!
