New program helps millennials navigate the adult world

Hammond, IN, December 19, 2017– The Hammond Public Library hosts relationship expert Johnathan Johnson in a 2-part program titled “Breaking Up is Hard to Do.” The program is for couples and singles and will take place on January 13th and 20th at 1:30 p.m. in the Community Room. Individuals and couples will receive guidance on how to overcome relationship obstacles and to deepen their existing connections. “Participants will learn the skills needed to achieve successful and happy relationships,” says Debra Powers, Senior Information Services Librarian and program coordinator. “The program is part of a larger series of programs called Adult 101, with programs on financial independence and car maintenance planned for later in 2018.”

Refreshments will be served and a movie pass gift card will be given away to one lucky winner. The program is free of charge thanks to the generous support of the Friends of the Hammond Public Library. More information about this program is with Debra Powers at the Hammond Public Library, 564 State St.; (219) 931-5100 ext. 320 or email at powerd@hammond.lib.in.us.
