The La Porte Park and Recreation Department is taking registrations for their Ballroom Dancing Classes. Couples only (living in the same household) are welcome to register. Proper social
distancing and masks are required. Class size is limited to 8 couples. Participants may register at the Park Office by calling 219-326-9600 weekdays from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Through the instruction of Patty Kolvek, owner of Dance Sophisticates, participants will learn the Waltz and Hustle. This six-week program will be held on Thursdays, from February 18 through March 25, at Cummings Lodge from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Deadline to register is Wednesday, February 17.
The following six-week session will be held on Thursdays from April 8 through May 13 at Cummings Lodge from 6:30-7:30 p.m. The West Coast Swing and the Night Club 2 Step will be the steps taught.
