Aunt Kitty’s Treasures and Trash Fall Yard Sale at the ICS Shelter. Clean out your closets, basement and garage and donate gently used items to ICS for their annual Fall Yard Sale. (Please – no clothing or large furniture). Drop off items for the sale at the shelter on Friday, September 28th between 9 AM and 3 PM, and come back on Saturday and Sunday for food, fun and bargains galore! (And, of course CATS!) Homemade Vittles and Treats for sale, provided by 3 Old Cat Ladie’s Cafe. Lots of great yard sale bargains, bake sale, and catnip, cat toys, and mats, and more.
The Independent Cat Society is a no-kill cat shelter and, as a not-for-profit 501(c)(3), is funded almost entirely through membership fees, adoption fees, fundraising events, and the generous tax-deductible gifts of caring individuals, like you. The shelter is operated primarily by volunteers and does not receive any government funding.
The shelter is located in Westville, IN, at the NE corner of Rt 6 and County Line Road (Porter and LaPorte counties). For GPS, use 4061 S County Line Rd, Westville.
