   The Miller Garden Club is holding its annual plant and rummage sale  10 am till 3 pm at the historic Marquette Park Aquatorium, 6918 Oak Avenue, Gary, IN 46403.  The Club also hosts the Annual Miller Beach Garden Walk. 

    This new and improved plant and rummage will features shorter and faster checkout-lines, a great variety of sure-to-grow-in-your-garden plants and herbs PLUS a professional curated array of artfully displayed treasures at rock-bottom prices. Heirloom, patio, pod, hanging and natives.
       “WOW, a rummage sale too, that’s my kind of fun,” stated President, Corya Channing.  Delicious box lunches and baked goods will also be provided for sale.

     Come out and enjoy the start of spring with your friends and family, rain or shine, at the beautifully restored Marquette Park over-looking Lake Michigan and the Chicago skyline with plenty of free parking.  Cash, checks and credit cards will be accepted.  As an extra service, garden tool sharpening will also be available.

    The Garden Cub meets the third Saturday of the Month, March through October, from 10 am until 11:30 am.  The general meetings are open to the public and feature speakers of interest on subjects ranging from gardening to ecology to stewardship of our natural resources.  Refreshments are served.

     The Miller Garden Club’s mission is to provide gardening education on all levels; to protect native trees, plants and wildlife; and to beautify the Miller Beach community in Gary, Indiana.  The club is a 501©3 not-for-profit organization founded in 1998.  The club members work tirelessly tending to gardens along the Lake Street business district the South Shore train station, the library, the Aquatorium and many other locations.
