Memorial Opera House is thrilled to announce that they have been selected to receive funding from Arts Midwest Touring Fund.

Cleveland Freelance Players, made up of talents Trinidad Snider, Tina Denise, Caron Wykle, Warren Egypt Franklin, and Anthony Williams will present the classic Fats Waller Musical Ain’t Misbehavin’ on Friday, August 5th and Saturday, August 6th . A talk back with the actors and actresses will be presented after the Friday performance. “Ain’t Misbehavin” is an evening full of rowdy, humorous songs that take the audience on a journey through the life and music of Fats Waller. Various moods of the era from pleasure and play to oppression and angst are presented in this musical revue with a book by Murray Horwitz and Richard Maltby Jr, and music by various composers and lyricists arranged by Luther Henderson.

Songs include: Ain’t Misbehavin’, Honeysuckle Rose, Cash for Your Trash, Two Sleepy People, and I Can Give You Anything But Love.

This special collaborative presentation is for two nights only and features the talent of the Cleveland Area and a band led by our very own Chris Stalbaum. Tickets are only $25 and will sell quickly, so make sure you get yours today!
