On Saturday, April 6, 2019 the Valparaiso Chain of Lakes Watershed Group, Valparaiso University with other local environmental advocates and organizations are sponsoring a Clean Water Symposium.
Lecture “A Thirst for Clean Water: Protecting Our Bodies and Bodies of Water through Knowledge and Engagement” will inform and activate public participation in our region through a keynote speaker by Virginia Tech Professor Marc Edwards, the scientist who was among the first to sound alarms about the lead crisis in Flint, Michigan.
