Elton Jeff & The Honky Cats will return on March 25th, 2023 after last June’s world premiere at the Opera House for their second annual appearance. Last year’s event sold out in record time and was received with multiple standing ovations throughout the evening. “Elton” Jeff Gajewski, who will be a judge at the upcoming Talent Show in Whiting, describes the act as not just a typical tribute act, but “more like a musical journey spanning over six decades, featuring a review of Elton John’s chart-topping favorites that have been embraced by multiple generations.”
The Elton Jeff & The Honky Cats production offers a variety of attractive visual elements, along with a stunning musical representation featuring some of the area’s greatest talent in the region. Opera House Foundation Marketing Consultant Andrew Brent says, “They nailed the sound-alike qualities of the music, and presented a dazzling and magical show that had the audience on its feet more than once. It’s not difficult to decide to have them back again, and again… and I hope for many years to come – absolutely delightful!”
This event is sponsored by Memorial Opera House Foundation, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit entity. The Mission of Memorial Opera House Foundation is to provide financial support to Memorial Opera House so that they may use theatre and the arts to build community and create a sense of belonging.
