The Duneland Chamber of Commerce will host a Candidate Forum from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at the Porter County Expo Center, 215 E. Division Road, Valparaiso, IN 46383,
“We take great pride in providing a platform where all candidates have the opportunity to share their views and connect with our community,” Chamber President Maura Mundell. “This forum allows residents and business owners to make informed decisions about the leaders who will shape the future of our communities.”

The event will offer guests the opportunity to meet and hear from more than 20 candidates now representing or seeking to represent Duneland, Porter County, or the State of Indiana.
The Candidate Forum will begin with remarks from U.S. Rep. Frank Mrvan, D-1st, and then continue with timed speeches from candidates running for local, county, and state offices.
Each candidate will be given an equal allotment of time to address attendees. There will be no debate or Q&A.
