**** Highly Recommended **** Drury Lane Theatre is usually associated with musicals, their specialty. At least once a year, however they do a play, sometimes a comedy, sometimes a mystery. This year, they’ve gone with mystery, an Ira Levin masterpiece, “Deathtrap”. This is probably the best mystery thriller I’ve ever seen on stage. It is superbly acted and kept me guessing, so I give it 4 Spotlights.
“Deathtrap” runs through August 14th at Drury Lane Theatre, 100 Drury Land, Oakbrook Terrace. Running time is 2 hours, 25 minutes with an intermission. Performances are Wednesdays at 1:30 pm; Thursdays at 1:30 and 8:00 pm; Fridays at 8:00 pm; Saturdays at 5:00 and 8:30 pm; and Sundays at 2:00 and 6:00 pm. Tickets range from $45-$60.
