***** Highly Recommended ***** If you’re a Gershwin fan – and really, who isn’t? – you’ll definitely want to catch Drury Lane Theatre’s production of “Crazy for You”. A dazzling tap dance extravaganza, “Crazy for You,” features some of the best Gershwin tunes ever written, including “Someone to Watch Over Me”, “Embraceable You”, “But Not for Me”, “They Can’t Take That Away from Me” and “Nice Work if You Can Get It.” Since “Crazy for You” is one of my top ten favorite musicals, it gets 4 BIG Spotlights.
“Crazy for You” runs through January 8th at Drury Lane Theatre, 100 Drury Lane, Oakbrook Terrace. Running time is 2 hours, 30 minutes, with an intermission. Performances are Wednesdays at 1:30 pm; Thursdays at 1:30 and 8:00 pm; Fridays at 8:00 pm; Saturdays at 5:00 and 8:30 pm; and Sundays at 2:00 and 6:00pm. Tickets range from $45-$60.
