During the coronavirus pandemic after the state shuttered their dining rooms it’s been a challenging time for restaurants.
The Highland Redevelopment Commission and the Highland Main Street Association is “cooking up” a monthly restaurant crawl on the Last Tuesday of every month.
Starting on January 2th, 2022 at 5 p.m. patrons can taste as many as nine area eateries chosen specialties. Entrees include a drink, appetizer, small entree or dessert for $5 or under.
The purpose is to showcase the great downtown dining options available downtown Highland.
Dan’s Pierogies serves items like their famous Polish Sausage on a bun with sauerkraut.
Langel’s Pizza offers items like loaded Chicken Quesdilla dine in only, or tajin tossed pock rinds w/Salsa.
Maria’s Buena Cocina serves items like Beef Nachos covered in cheese, tomatoes and beef or crispy beef tacos.
Jose’s Family Restaurant serves items like shrimp scampi fettuccine, or oven baked chicken w primavera rice.
The Green Witch, vegan buddha bowl.
Growlers Pub, serves items like chicken bacon mac and cheese
Sip Coffee House, serves items like “the Mantle: latte w/Vegan Cloud Cookie.
Also participating are:
Traditions Restaurant, and Sakura Bowl.
