Downtown Cooke Walk Is ON ! Laporte Indiana

     Visitors can fill their very own LaPorte cookie tins on Sat, Dec 11th, 2021 as part of the 7th Annual Downtown Cookie Walk. The event starts at 10am at the Greater LaPorte Chamber of Commerce, Tins cost $10. 

     Don’t miss this year’s limited edition Cookie Tin! Tin sales will begin Monday, November 22, and can be purchased at the Civic Auditorium for $10 (limit one per family). Tins will also be available for purchase at the following locations through Monday, December 6:
– Hot Spot Café
– The Pink Sheep
– Downtown Delights
– A Whole World of Good
     Tins will be available for pick-up on the day of the event (Saturday, December 11) from 9-11 a.m. at the new La Porte Economic Advancement Partnership office (605 Michigan Avenue). Maps of participating businesses can also be picked up at this time.
     For businesses interested in participating in this year’s Cookie Walk, please contact City of La Porte Events Director Brett Binversie at bbinversie@cityoflaportein.gov or call 219-362-2325. The deadline to be included is Sunday, Dec. 5. This event is brought to you in part by the La Porte Small Business Coalition.

     One cookie is placed in each tin at each location. It usually takes families about 2 hours to walk the entire downtown. This is a very relaxed and festive event which provides a great way for families to discover Downtown LaPorte. 324-8584.
