For well over ten years, Dynamic Music, of Valparaiso Indiana, has provided costume characters for children’s birthday parties. After a while, owners Sue and Les Baxter realized that just having a character show up was not enough to make the birthday party complete.
     So, they developed  customized Children’s games utilizing popular adult music combined with an array of props that involves active participation of every child and parents. This little known combination has proven itself to be a special kind of fun for kids over and over. Parents love to watch their children perform and the musical activities hold the children’s attention, excite their imagination, and above all that provide participation with the Parents as well!

“Over the years we’ve combined various props with a children’s activity with a special adult song that has created a unique activity that is original.  It really is a lot of fun to see the children’s eyes and their excitement,” stated Les Baxter. Of course, we provide an incentive which are prizes of all kinds rewarded to those who win. We make the games difficult enough to be challenging, but also fun enough that everyone wins eventually.

The Costume Character parties are suitable for children from the ages of three to twelve. Some children at the age of two have been able to participate. Each party can be customized to fit each group. Additional Items that can be selected from include adult dancing, adult interaction, PA system for announcements, bubble machine, face painting, pee wee ball crawl with the a costume character.

   Using adult music in conjunction with children’s activities has proven to be a natural fit. Research shows that music is not only stimulating but also can engage the personality on various levels.
