*** Recommended *** I’m never sure about remakes, whether it’s a movie made from a play or a play from a movie, so I didn’t know if I’d like “The Bodyguard” or not. I did like the fabulous voices, I’m not so fond of the plot changes! The famous singer is at the center of this script, not the bodyguard. And forget about the movie’s suspenseful build to who-dunnit – that’s gone. I give “The Bodyguard” 3 Spotlights.
