It’s time again for the annual Crown Point Corn Roast. Corn is king of the two-day event. The hours will be 4pm-11pm on Friday night the event will continues on Saturday from Noon-11pm, the beer garden will open at 4pm both days.
Attendees also can enjoy the park’s splash pad, games and kids activities, and live music in the new amphitheater/band shell that accommodates 1,500 people for concerts and theater performances.
Sweet and succulent, the Indiana-grown corn is cooked in its husks, then roasted on the grill, seasoned just with a sprinkling of salt and pepper and then slathered with butter.
Don’t forget, there’s always a Beer Garden, games, and an expanded footprint for vendors and concessions inside the new pavilion area (a rain or shine facility). Ample parking is available at the nearby school parking lot west of Bulldog Park.
The festival brings 7,000 to 8,000 people to Crown point and marks the beginning of summer.

Experience an old-fashioned street celebration downtown Crown Point’s new bulldog Park featuring great food, a beer garden and live music. The event will take place Saturday, August 27th 2021: 8:30-10:30pm.
