Crown Point Corn Roast

    It’s time again for the annual Crown Point Corn Roast. Corn is king of the two-day event. The hours will be 5pm-11pm on Friday night the event will continues on Saturday from Noon-11pm, the beer garden will open at 5pm both days.
     The Corn Roast is hosted by the Crossroads Regional Chamber of Commerce and has been an annual tradition in Crown Point for decades.  DJs at Work perform from 5-7 p.m. and family-friendly trivia and contests are from 5-6 p.m.  
     Attendees also can enjoy the park’s splash pad, games and kids activities, and live music in the new amphitheater/band shell that accommodates 1,500 people for concerts and theater performances.
      Sweet and succulent, the Indiana-grown corn is cooked in its husks, then roasted on the grill, seasoned just with a sprinkling of salt and pepper and then slathered with butter.   
     Don’t forget, there’s always a Beer Garden, games, and an expanded footprint for vendors and concessions inside the new pavilion area (a rain or shine facility). Ample parking is available at the nearby school parking lot west of Bulldog Park.
  Friday Festival  Schedule:
5pm – 11pm Beer Garden
5pm – 7pm DJ’s at work
5pm – 6pm Kid’s trivia and contests
6pm – 7pm music for dancing
8:30pm – 10:30pm PRX
Saturday Festival Schedule:
2pm – 5pm music with 5 Star DJ
4pm – 11pm Beer Garden
6pm – 7pm Jack Cunningham – acoustic
7:30pm – 10:30pm Sticky Scissors

     Experience an old-fashioned street celebration downtown Crown Point’s new bulldog Park featuring great food, a beer garden and live music. The event will take place Saturday, August 28th 2021 from Noon-11:00pm and Friday, August 27th from 5pm-11pm.
