Beer here, beer here. We are going old school! Do you remember… Old Style, Schiltz, Hamms, PBR, and Strohs? Well you are in luck! Brewski Fest is Friday, August 22, 2025 at 5pm at the Amphitheater in Valparaiso Indiana, just up the road from the Porter County Fair and they’ll have all those hard to find yellow water pioneers.
Creator Jennifer is chalk full of beer knowledge. Did you know that early beer drinkers actually used a can opener to poke to holes to drink out of a non-aluminum can? And Miller is NOT the most popular beer in Chicago. Any guesses? It begins with an M. Too much information with those, so PLEASE just hand me another one from the Land of Sky Blue Waters!
The spirit and mission is a beer festival celebrating the beverages of our past to honor our dads, moms, grandfathers, and grandmothers with an age old tradition: drinking beer together! My Auntie Mary actually drank her beer warm!
The suggested dress code is Classic Beer shirts / Beer can hats or anything RETRO. I’d wear something Elvis with the new movie out, but he didn’t like beer much. What? Sorry to say, me neither, BUT do not fear, we’ll have selzters too. Watch for the Roller Derby Girls TOO!
To help support local charities and our environment, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to support the Valparaiso American Legion Charles Pratt Post #94.
