April’s “Birthday Candles” at Marian Theatre Guild
This unusual story is about Ernestine Ashworth, a teenage girl, who spends her 17th birthday agonizing over her insignificant place in the universe. The play then takes the audience through her 18, 40th, 70th and 101st birthdays (the actor plays all four ages) through the highs, lows and even extraordinary moments of one woman’ “ordinary life.”
Theatre dates are Saturdays April 20 and 27th at 7:30pm and Sunday Matinee, April 21 and 28th at 3pm. Enjoy Dinner/Theatre with St. John’s famous fare for Saturday performances only. Reservations are needed.
