Artisan Fair Presented Same Day As Plow Day!

The Spring Artisan Fair will be on Sunday, April 14, 2024 from 10am – 3:30pm. Plow day will be going on at the same time. They are looking for artisans to participate in the art fair. If you have any questions, see contact info below.

Calling All Local Artisans! Booth cists $15 – $30, Plow Day is held at the Door Prairie Barn. This barn, located next to the LaPorte County Museum, has 9 sides. The public is invited to come and watch the different breeds of draft horses using horse-drawn implements in the field. This is a free event. The viewing public should park in the La Porte County Historical Society Museum parking lot. Event participants with horse trailers will park to the north of the round barn. The address of the museum is 2405 Indiana Ave, La Porte, IN.  

The La Porte County Historical Society will be hosting our annual Spring Artisan Fair on Sunday, April 14, 2024 from 10:00 am to 3:30 pm. This is the same day as the La Porte County Draft Horse Association’s Plow Day near the Door Prairie Barn.  We are in search of vendors for the fair! We welcome all types of artisans.
