Free Symphony Concert Coming to Marquette Pavilion in 2026

The Gary Parks and Recreation and the Marquette Pavilion are bringing the Northwest Indiana Symphony to West Beach on Friday, July 24th, 2026 at 7:30 p.m. for a free concert with the magnificent dunes as the backdrop.  For All   SIX SYMPHONY CONCERTS CLICK HERE!

 

Enjoy the 40 piece symphony orchestra under the direction of Conductor Kirk Muspratt for a two hour performance of music selected to fit this anniversary year. The stage will be set up in the southwest parking lot at West Beach. Limited seating is available near the stage; therefore, visitors are encouraged to bring folding chairs. Several food vendors will be serving a variety of dinner items or participants can bring a picnic dinner. Alcohol is prohibited at West Beach. Fee collection at West Beach will cease at 5 p.m. that day.  Please carpool if possible.

 

In the event of inclement weather, the concert will be relocated to a location to be determined. 

      Summer concert information is available by calling the symphony office at (219) 836-0525 or by visiting the web site at www.NISOrchestra.org. The South Shore Summer Music Festival is generously sponsored by Chase with additional support from Strack and Van Til. The Symphonyโ€™s 2024-25 season will consist of 3 classical and 3 pops concerts presented from September through May. Subscriptions and Tickets are available now.
