The American Legion Riders Post 261, host a Stars and Stripes Ride for
Vets on Sunday, July 4. Sign in 10am to noon. The first bike will go out at noon
and the last bike will return at 5 pm, entry fee for a single $15.00, double
$25.00. The Poker includes a vendor and drink ticket. The first 100 entrants
will also receive a Ride Pin. The day’s event also includes a Pancake Breakfast,
from 7-11:30 am. Adult tickets are $6.00. Children’s tickets $3.00, family
tickets costs $17. 24th Annual Car Show will be 8 am to 3 pm.
Registration 8 a.m. and runs until 11am sharp, when judging begins. Trophies
awarding 3 p m Registration for judging $20. The Bones kick off the live
entertainment. They take the stage from 5:30 to7:45pm. This is the 39th
anniversary of the rock hit “Rock&Roll Chicago” by M&R Rush. This killer rock
group will take the stage from 8-9:30pm. The ever popular patriotic event, Cedar
Lake’s very own Laser Light Show, at 9:30 pm.
